James Mahoney BSc FIHE CIHT

I am a Civil Engineer with over 27 years’ experience in the sector, specialising in the design of highways, infrastructure, drainage and external works. I work with local and national government organisations, private developers, national housebuilders, housing associations, and domestic clients. My project experience covers the project lifecycle from pre-acquisition and feasibility, planning applications, to technical approvals and construction.

I undertake the design of highway access and estate roads for section 38 and 278 applications, and write drainage strategy reports to discharge surface water and SuDS related planning conditions. I have experience of working overseas with international clients and contractors, including the development of Regional Waste Management Facilities across South Sinai, Egypt.

I enjoy running (when not injured) and playing golf (when the weather permits), and watching my children in their numerous out of school activities.
