Detailed Design
Aegaea provides detailed civil engineering design for a wide range of projects, from single dwellings to large residential, industrial, commercial, and retail projects.
Our clients operate within a number of sectors including commercial, residential, health, education and local authority.
We undertake the detailed design and liaison with the highway authority and provide layout drawings, reports, construction details and specifications required for the necessary applications for technical approval and legal agreement, i.e. Sections 38 & 278.
We work with the relevant drainage authorities to gain the relevant technical approvals, i.e. Sections 104, 106 and 185, Ordinary Watercourse and Land Drainage Consents, SAB, etc.
When considering your specific drainage requirements, we can advise you on the best surface water disposal option using industry standards and the SuDS hierarchy, taking into consideration all site constraints.
Aegaea undertakes the design of external works identifying finished floor levels (FFL’s) in accordance with Building Regulations Part M access requirements, footpath/parking locations and levels, location and height of retaining walls, public open space/garden spot levels and any graded embankment requirements.
Our designs can provide detailed earthworks cut & fill using industry-standard software.
Aegaea’s experience allows us to undertake preliminary studies to identify cost savings through early value engineering, during concept, feasibility and planning through to detailed design.
