Jack Allen

I am a Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, with a BSc in Geography and a MSc in Water, Energy and the Environment. I have experience in writing flood risk assessments for both major and minor developments, along with a strong knowledge in SuDS drainage design. I decided to start a career in flood risk due to the high risk of flooding in my local town (Northwich), and because of my interest in environmental science.

I also have an interest in water quality and for my BSc dissertation I studied the impacts conventional farming can have in comparison to organic farming. Then for my MSc dissertation i put my flood risk knowledge to good use, and studied the potential to reduce flood risk in Northwich using Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).

Outside of work I enjoy sports, such as running, hiking, and mountain biking.
