Amelia Rowntree

I’m a graduate flood risk consultant, who has just completed my BSc honours degree at the University of Salford specialising in hydrology. This has always been a passion of mine from growing up with high exposure to flooding and its consequences, living in a high-risk food area in West Yorkshire. I have helped on a few natural flood management projects over my time at university including a consultancy for the New Mill log dams with the Environment Agency and an internship with Dynamic Rivers modelling for NFM projects.

Outside of work you can find me with my nose in a good book wherever I am unless its wrangling animals that are giving me the run around or at the dance studio.
