Nora Balboni

Hi, I’m Nora, a Principal Consultant at Aegaea and Team Lead of the FRA & SuDS team. I draw on 10 years’ experience across a wide range of projects in the UK and internationally to support the team and oversee the day-to-day running of our work.

I’ve delivered countless flood risk and SuDS projects, from individual residential dwellings through to new garden towns, national infrastructure, and major road and rail schemes. My experience also includes public sector projects, such as developing a community flood resilience framework, managing property flood resilience schemes, and secondments into organisations such as the Greater London Authority, where I worked as a Water Policy Officer. I also spent time at a landscape architecture studio, which gave me the opportunity to work on international projects in the Middle East, including site visits in Saudi Arabia and Australia.

I’ve been based in North London since 2011, and outside of work you’ll usually find me on my 7th-floor balcony with a coffee, at my yoga studio, swimming in the lido, or enjoying one of my local pubs.
